Medicinal Benefits of Henna

Our ancestors used ground paste of leaves of henna on nails so that nails look beautiful. Nail polish used these days are made of chemicals. No medicinal usefulness in these at all. But henna has many medicinal uses. It can cure inflammation, wounds and decay of nails, moreover it protects the nails. Wounds can be cured by paste of henna application.

To cure STD (Sexually Transmitted Diseases)

To cure STD leaves of henna 6 gms., garlic 1 piece, good pepper 5 pieces ground and can be taken only in the mornings. During this period, salt should be totally avoided and spices and tamarind also be avoided.

To cure cramps

Leaves of henna should be soaked in water in the night and in the morning boiled to make a syrup and sponged on cramps and small wounds to cure them.

For good sleep

Leaves of henna can be kept under the pillow to get good sleep. Moreover this will cool up the heat of brain and will energize body. Root and bark of henna ground and taken along with milk in mornings will cure excessive bleeding. It will reduce bile and improves body health. When cancer patients ae given chemotheraphy, they loose hair. To hide this, they apply henna in different designs on head. Psychologist claim applying henna reduces stress. Many western doctors have researched and found medicinal uses of henna. But our Siddhars have used henna for good health for many thousand years.
